I believe that any evolutionary process that is not recorded in time never existed in the first place. This “written” records of achievement and development is pivotal to any evolution. Humans have genetic codes that keeps this biodata in records. And by sketching such evolutionary trace, we find our history. This recorded information is a key requirement to the process of evolution itself. Technology is the same. That is why the knowledge base systems represent the genetic code for evolving technology. As such Knowledge is key, not information. Data is the predecessor of information, while knowledge is the successor of it. Looking at computers today, we mirrored it to oneself. The similarities are uncanny; just trace the terminology we used for our creation.

Human intelligence is the result of billions years of drama. In fractions of that, we started to give intelligence to our creation. If we agree on the fact that intelligence is processing information to form knowledge, machines are gaining leaps and bounds in that domicile. 2015 marked the first time in human history, where we had a machine that effectively process the same CPS as the human brain. The difference is the rationality of humans. Are we seeing the age of irrationality surfacing?
